We are located at the Student Services Building between Costo Hall and the Student Success Center. Appointments have priority, but walk-ins are always welcome!
Parents & Guardians
In order to speak to HOSS representatives about financial aid, grades, etc., your student MUST make you an AUTHORIZED USER in R'Web.
Students
To give an Authorized User proxy access to your student record(s):
1) Log into R'Web using your UCR NetID and password
2) Click on the Authorized User icon
3) Enter your Authorized User's information and click "Add Proxy"
Please have the following ready when you arrive at the HOSS:
- Students: UCR student ID number AND a photo ID
- Parents/Guardians/Authorized Users: Photo ID AND documented proxy access in R'Web. In order to speak with HOSS representatives, parents/guardians MUST be established as Authorized Users in R'Web by their student.
HOSS Services
You can get in-person assistance at the Highlander One-Stop Shop with the following services:
- Financial Aid: Understanding your award offer, submitting the right verification documents, maintaining eligiblity, etc.
- Cost of Attendance: Understanding the costs associated with your tuition and fees.
- Your Student Account: Payment methods and determining how to clear account holds from Student Business Services.
- Documents: Transcripts, enrollment verifications Glacier docs, and more!
- Scholarships: How to find scholarships and submitting physical scholarship checks.
- Summer Sessions: Summer classes are typically only 5 weeks long and are a great opportunity to catch up, get ahead, or explore new opportunities!
